About Bob Hopkins
Bob Hopkins began his career in 1997 when he joined Focus on Health & Safety Inc. in a sales role. Bob remained at FHS (which became ADP Health & Safety in 2005) until 2008. FHS, like many WSIB service providers could not comply with the requirements to become a legal services practice, ceased operations in 2008.
Bob also provides consulting services to many clients directly. His focus is on educating companies so that they will understand the cost and benefits of their decisions around WSIB claims. His services include:
- In-house NEER/CAD-7 training sessions
- The tipping points of when a claim becomes VERY costly
- What your Rebate/Surcharge will be in 2018 and forecasting your 2019 results
- Return to Work Management Systems
- Mentoring your staff & Monitoring your WSIB account
- Accident Cost Statement review (monthly)
- Telephone Support
- NEER/CAD-7 projections
Among the staff at FHS in 1997 were Mark Senicar, Operations Manager and Senior Consultant, and Charles Gaffney, also in a sales role. Mark and Charles formed SE-GA Workplace Consulting Professional Corporation in late 2008 to provide WSIB management services to Ontario Employers with a particular emphasis to gain Second Injury Enhancement Fund (Cost Relief). Bob joined SE-GA in 2010 as an Independent Paralegal in 2010.
Bob believes in the “Value for Time” equation: Your Company will learn more about how WSIB claims and costs affect your company than if you looked at these issues with your internal resources. This includes discussing your WSIB statements, the return to work process and the new universal rating program for 2019 (currently known as Rate Reform).
Throughout his 20 year Bob has worked to educate his (potential) clients about the financial risks and parameters of Experience Rating (NEER, CAD-7 and MAPP). He began his training session while at FHS and continues to provide Teaching seminars in both public settings and to companies by customizing his presentation material to their specific claim concerns and financial situation.
Lastly we invite you to contact Bob’s references. Bob believes the most important thing he can do for one of his clients is to return their phone call or answer their e-mail enquiry as soon as possible. That sounds simple but it is something that makes him unique.
